Est aussi appelé Jack Leyser. Premier mariage, en Pologne, il eut une fille, Pauline, épouse de Jacob Teichfeld (Teigfeld) et mère d'un fils, Joseph, résidant à Prusykow près de Varsovie, décédée le 2.3.1886. Ce mariage, célébré selon le rite juif, ne fut vriasmblablement pas inscrit à l'état civil, donc considéré par les autorités polonaises un peu comme les mariages entres huguenots en France. De son second mariage, il eut 8 enfants, (voir "Notice famille Spiro") dont Johannes Hendricus, 1847-1914. Ce fut lui qui latinisa nom et prénoms, soit Johannes Hendricus Spiro. En 1870, alors qu'il habitait en Hollande, le certificat de police portait Hendricus Johannes Schapiro, nommé Spiro. |
